Application
1. For the production of paper and cellulose pulp;
2. For the production of soaps, synthetic detergents, synthetic fatty acids, and the refining of animal and vegetable fats.
3. Textile printing and dyeing industry used as cotton cloth desizing agent, scouring agent and mercerizing agent.
4. The chemical industry is used to produce borax, sodium cyanide, oxalic acid, and phenol.
5. The petroleum industry is used to refine petroleum products and is used in drilling mud in oil fields. It is also used in the production of surface treatment of alumina, metallic zinc and metallic copper as well as glass, enamel, leather, medicine, dyes and pesticides.
6. Food grade products are used as acid neutralizers in the food industry. They can be used as peeling agents for citrus and peaches, as detergents for containers for empty bottles and empty cans, as well as decolorizing agents and deodorants.
7. It can also be used as alkaline desiccant. Caustic soda is widely used in the national economy, and many industrial sectors require caustic soda. The department that uses the most caustic soda is the manufacture of chemicals, followed by the manufacturing of paper, aluminum, tungsten, rayon, rayon and soap. In addition, in the production of dyes, plastics, pharmaceuticals and organic intermediates, the regeneration of old rubber, the production of sodium metal, water electrolysis, and the production of inorganic salts, the preparation of borax, chromium salts, manganese salts, phosphates, etc. must also be used. A lot of caustic soda.

Handling and Storage
Closed operation. Operators must be specially trained to strictly observe the operating procedures. It is recommended that the operator wear a hood-type electric air filter dust respirator, wear rubber acid and alkali clothes, wear rubber acid and alkali gloves. Keep away from flammable and combustible materials. Avoid dust. Avoid contact with acids. It should be lightly loaded and unloaded during handling to prevent damage to the packaging and containers. Equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment. Empty containers may be harmful residues. When diluting or preparing a solution, alkali should be added to water to avoid boiling and splashing.
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat sources. The humidity in the warehouse is preferably not more than 85%. The package must be sealed and must not be exposed to moisture. Should be separated from flammable combustibles, acids, etc.
First Aid Measures
Skin contact: Immediately remove contaminated clothing and flush with plenty of running water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention.
Eye contact: Immediately lift the lid and rinse thoroughly with plenty of running water or saline for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention.
Inhalation: quickly from the scene to fresh air. Keep the airway open. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If breathing stops, give artificial respiration immediately. Get medical attention.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth with water and drink milk or egg white. Get medical attention.
Fire Fighting Measures
Hazardous characteristics: Neutralization with acid and exothermic heat. It is corrosive to aluminum, zinc and tin when exposed to moisture and releases flammable and explosive hydrogen. This product will not burn, a large amount of exothermic water and water vapor, forming a corrosive solution. Strong corrosive.
Hazardous combustion products: May produce harmful toxic fumes.
Fire extinguishing methods: Use water and sand to save, but be sure to prevent items from splashing with water and cause burns.
Accidental Release Measures
Emergency treatment: Isolation of contaminated areas and restrictions on access. It is recommended that emergency personnel wear a dust mask (full face mask) and wear anti-acid and alkaline work clothes. Do not touch the spill directly.
Small leakage: Avoid dust, collect with a clean shovel in a dry, clean, covered container. It can also be rinsed with plenty of water. The washing water is diluted and put into the waste water system.
Large leakage: Collected and recycled or shipped to waste disposal sites for disposal.
